At such a high price, I expected basic cleanliness and professional service, but unfortunately neither happened. We arrived at Jacob's Resort in Hadera for one night for a family wedding and rented several suites with stunning sea views. The location is excellent, but the hotel has no parking. Upon settling into my expensive suite, I found a stained towel and women's hair on the sofa. I reported this to staff who promised to clean, but after two hours nothing was done. I only received clean towels while other towels remained dirty and the room was not cleaned. An hour before the wedding, instead of preparing, I had to contact manager Jacqueline and receptionist Anton. I showed them photos as evidence, but their response was disappointing. When I asked to change rooms, I was told to simply leave without compensation. Shockingly, I was accused of being a liar despite clear proof. Eventually, I cleaned the room myself, including collecting the leftover hair. At breakfast, I skipped food and checked out immediately. At this price, I expected minimum cleanliness and professional service, and neither was provided.

Travel warning about Jacob Hadera. We paid a high full price and received a very disappointing experience. We arrived Tuesday 19.8 for the pre-wedding preparations: three people - bride and two companions - and it was agreed and paid that the bride and groom would sleep an additional night. At reception, chaos began: we were told the booking was for only two people. When we asked how this was possible after booking everything in advance, we were directed to call reservations, where it was revealed that three people were never registered. The suite was actually a small room with a split double bed, broken doors, urine stench in the bathroom, clogged shower, lipstick marks on the door, stains on sheets and mold on curtains. Three weeks before arrival we learned the pool was closed. The peak: the cleaner used a bath towel to clean the toilet. On checkout day at 11:03, staff knocked and demanded we leave immediately. Reception staff discussed us openly, emphasizing to others it was the problem room. When we complained, desk said I was nitpicking, it's end of season and all Israeli hotels look like this. Jacob promised to contact us - they never did. For this price we expected much better. Poor experience, not recommended.

We arrived on Tuesday, August 19th at Jacob Hotel in Hadera, the evening before the wedding for preparation day. The suite given to us was small with a separated double bed, broken doors, urine smell in the bathroom, clogged shower, lipstick marks on the door, stains on sheets and moldy curtains. Three weeks before arrival, we were told the pool would be closed. At reception, problems started: they claimed the reservation was for two guests only and asked us to contact booking. There we learned they forgot to note the bride and two bridesmaids arriving for preparation day, and that on wedding night the groom and bride stay an extra night - exactly as we paid. They charged us full inflated price for everything. When we complained, we were told we're nitpicking, it's end of season and all Israeli hotels look like this. Jacob promised to respond but never did. Very high disappointment; at this price we expected something completely different. Negative experience - not recommended.

Unfortunately, after our wedding weekend at the resort in Hadera, we will not return. To any bride planning a wedding in Hadera - book in Netanya or elsewhere to avoid having your special weekend ruined by their incompetence. The hotel charges exorbitant prices exceeding luxury hotels in the country, with poor service at every touchpoint. On wedding night (8:30-9 PM, as it was a Friday afternoon wedding), we returned and called room service 13 times - repeatedly disconnected. When the staff learned we were the bride and groom, he replied arrogantly 'wait patiently' and hung up. He arrived after 40 minutes. The bridal suite we paid extra for lacked proper lighting, no bathtub, and inadequate amenities. Reception staff's response was insulting: 'What did you expect, it's Hadera.' At the spa, we requested a couples massage in one room but received two separate rooms. The massage tables squeaked constantly - 45 minutes of embarrassing noise. Security blocked the pool entrance rudely without explanation. Only after repeated questioning did he dismiss us: 'Didn't you hear? I'm not opening for you, goodbye.' The only hotel in Hadera benefits from location only, not service. From arrival to departure, everything was below standard.

We were charged an additional 500 ₪ for the bridal suite and received only a bottle of 'champagne' worth 20 ₪ and a chocolate pack worth 5 ₪. The reception staff behaved appallingly, with no courtesy or human decency toward the bride on her wedding day. They ruined her morning and denied us breakfast. When we asked for a wine opener to be sent to the room, they told me to go get it myself from reception. We booked four rooms, including the bridal suite. The service was terrible and awful—the worst experience I've ever had! Do not go, do not go, do not go!
