The local restaurant and butcher shop Limousin is located in Ramat Yishay, Israel. The shop was established in 1998 as a butcher shop where the meat is aged naturally in the best local beef. In 2002 the restaurant was added to the shop. The restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes, all made of locally raised beef. In addition to the restaurant, Limousin also offers banquet services and holds events for groups of 80 and up. The menu for such events is varied and the spaces are suitable for a private event.

Meat dishes - from classic and simple to advanced and unique. We also have a variety of dishes for the children and mouthwatering desserts. Hosting events at the restaurant - we can host all types of events, from the romantic wedding to the event for the corporation.

We visited the restaurant for New Year's Eve dinner, and everything went wrong. The meat arrived undercooked and we had to send it back for more frying. The couple's dish was tiny - just two small meatballs the size of ping-pong balls, two sausages, half a chicken breast, and an almost raw steak. The drinks were also disappointing - basically just water with a drop of lemon. When we asked for ice cream for the grandchildren, we were told it had run out. We used to visit frequently and celebrate various events there, so the disappointment is doubled. In short, a particularly miserable experience. I hope they won't delete this review and will address these issues.

When there are many tables of particularly large groups, due to poor acoustics, the noise is noticeable and the atmosphere becomes somewhat loud. On the other hand, the food quality is very high and the service is exceptional.

It's worth trying the mixed grill designed for several diners, offering excellent value. The culinary level combined with service and quality—especially in meat dishes—is outstanding. Accordingly, prices are above average and better suited for events and special occasions. This is a generous restaurant with aesthetic design, and a pleasant terrace awaits at the entrance. Despite the establishment's age, everything looks well-maintained and impeccably organized.

I gave only one star, and only because the food was tasty. The service was among the worst I've encountered, and we won't be returning. The main course and cocktails arrived quickly, but half an hour after ordering, neither the promised bread nor the water we requested at the start arrived on the table. No one approached to ask if everything was fine; even when we tried to find the waitress, she didn't come. At the end of the meal, we asked for the bill and mentioned we didn't receive water and bread. The response was: Sorry 🤭. Really comforting. This happened despite confirming with the waitress before ordering that bread comes with the meal, and she said every table gets it. We had reserved this place two weeks in advance to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.

One small issue marred the experience: I requested my drink without ice, but the request was refused — quite disappointing. Otherwise, the service was impeccable, the food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We celebrated our wedding day in a limousine. Really disappointing!
