Bat Yaar Ranch is a Restaurant and Event venue located deep in the Biriya Forest near Safed, Israel. We serve Seasonal local Food, primarily using the finest quality local Meats and offer a cozy dining area in our wooden cabin and in beautifully decorated private carriages that face the countryside.

The kosher venue at the Bat Yaar Ranch is suitable for private events, groups of friends and for business meetings. The events at the ranch take place in the “Bar Yaar” wooden structure, and in the summer time – in the garden. We also offer horseback riding through the Biriya Forest, guided by knowledgeable and experienced instructors.

Looking for a place for a special celebration or an upscale dining experience? This is it. The service we received was professional and pleasant, and the waiters nailed their recommendations. The dishes arrived quickly, and the meat was simply wow—one of the best we've tasted; the quality was evident in every bite and every plate. We chose to sit in the special 'carriage' seating area, which was air-conditioned, spacious, and separated from the rest, creating an intimate and unique atmosphere. There's an additional charge of 25 shekels per person for this seating, and it's absolutely worth it. We came as a couple last Thursday and reserved the carriage. We'll definitely return.

From the moment you enter, the view and atmosphere are stunning — a genuine feeling of going abroad, with a hint of an Argentine farm. There's also an option for private carriages for an additional fee, for those seeking something extra for celebrations, birthdays, or just for fun. The service is exceptional (which is really not taken for granted here in Israel), and the food is excellent. The pastas are meticulous and professionally executed, and everything together was simply perfect. In summary, one of the most unique and interesting restaurants in our beautiful north.

An exceptional experience from start to finish! We booked a private car with air conditioning, eight folding seats, and a spacious wooden table. There's even convenient music volume control and a small button to call service. Ariel, our waiter, was very polite, and the entire staff who entered the cabin for service and clearing was simply amazing. The festive dinner was excellent: delicious cocktails, outstanding appetizers, and the meat was outstanding and incredibly tasty. It's not cheap, but completely worth it and worthwhile.

In the Heart of the Forest, an excellent place with a very authentic atmosphere. It is a venue that combines a restaurant, an events complex, and also a horse ranch. The service is wonderful and the food is delicious. On Saturday at 12:30 PM it was completely full. (31.01.25) Lucky that we made a reservation.

Overall, the food was successful: we ordered sirloin and brisket with good flavors, though something that could easily be recreated at home. Homemade bread was reasonable, tended to crumble slightly, but not bad. I would have skipped it and the three sauces, which were merely pleasant. The restaurant previously hosted events with meats requiring slow roasting using charcoal and wood. So why use a gas grill now? There's no Tel Aviv municipality regulation requiring minimal smoke here; we're in nature. Real charcoal has no substitute. Here's practical improvement advice: smoke hard cuts with wood instead of charcoal. With gas grills, add wood chips with proper ventilation and closed lid. Hard cuts can be smoked elsewhere then finished in a low oven. Such establishments should demonstrate expertise across all meat cuts. I'd return and improve my rating if you expand variety and offer more cuts requiring smoking or prolonged roasting, preferably not on gas. This feedback was shared with staff. Good luck.
