Hamaashena is a restaurant in the moshav of Yanov, just outside of Netanya in Israel. The restaurant specializes in serving up smoked meats, all of which are smoked using traditional methods of smoking over iron, using wood and live fire. The restaurant’s menu offers a range of delicious flavors and dishes all made using only the freshest local produce. In addition to the menu, the restaurant also serves a range of boutique wines and other quality alcoholic beverages.

Events are held at Hamaashena in a private dining room which can seat up to 40 people, for smaller more intimate gatherings. The whole restaurant can also be booked for larger parties of up to 120 people. In addition, there is an outside courtyard, also seating up to 120 people.

Ziv provided us with exceptional service, going above and beyond our expectations, and everything turned out perfect. From the very first conversation, it was clear we were being treated as we should be. We came to the smokehouse on a recommendation. We celebrated a small bat mitzvah at home.

A small tip for the start: to enjoy without distractions, I recommend handing your mobile phone to the waitress — it upgrades the experience. We visit the smokehouse regularly, and we celebrate all our events and celebrations there. We don't remember leaving disappointed; the food is excellent, the service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is enchanting. For those who love smoked meat — I highly recommend it, it's a different and incredibly enjoyable experience!

Ziv and Adam, thank you so much! You simply excel at what you do. Really! The food? A true masterpiece — thoughtfully prepared, precise and delicious!!! Adam, the amazing pit-master, arrived on the event day well-prepared and organized, executing everything at a perfect pace with exceptional professionalism. This was a home event organized at the last minute — only five days before the date. I called the smokehouse to check the possibility of hosting the event at our home. From the first phone call with Ziv, I had a strong feeling I was in good hands; this intuition proved correct, and even exceeded my expectations. Ziv created a customized menu suited to the event's nature and budget framework, including Adam's participation.
